Accommodation

GPAH Resource Centre have an office situated in the heart of the local community in Downley, High Wycombe from where Buckinghamshire services are regulated. GPAH Resource Centre is starting a new venture of a supported living home. Each resident will have their own bedroom in a house which they are encouraged to personalise to their own taste.

There will be communal rooms providing a range of activities for all service users.

There will be an office and sleep in facilities to enable 24 hour cover and emergency support where the tenant’s support plan identifies such needs. House is an ideal ‘Stepping stone’ for tenants living at the house to develop their skills and where suitable work to-wards moving into their own flats.

GPAH Resource Centre is able to source and provide specific accommodations requested by individual Service users and Care Managers in their chosen area.

We listen to our service user’s wishes and views and believe in supporting them to make their own decisions as much as possible. Day to day support is offered, agreed and tailored to an individual’s needs through a process of Person Centred Planning. The support we provide to our service users is regularly reviewed to ensure that we are still meeting each person’s requirements.

The level and type of support we offer to our service user’s depends on each individual’s needs and can be anything from practical help with household tasks and personal care, money management, hobbies and employment to more emotional support around friendships, relationships, developing or maintaining interests and planning for the future.
